Petrol crosses 150, now milk is also getting expensive in Pakistan
The economic crisis in Pakistan is deepening and its impact
is fast falling on the people there. In this episode, for the first time in
Pakistan, the price of petrol has crossed Rs 150 per liter. Not only this, in
the midst of rising inflation, the price of milk has reached Rs 60 per liter in
Karachi, along with the prices of other things in the country are also increasing.
Due to this, the opposition parties have stood against the Imran Khan
government and the difficulties of the Imran Khan government are increasing.
In fact, the wrong economic policies of the government have
brought some countries to the brink of ruin, one of them includes Pakistan. In
Pakistan, the condition is that people are already worried about the prices of
LPG here. The price of domestic cylinder has reached Rs 2,560 in the country.
At the same time, the price of commercial cylinder is Rs 9,847.
Apart from petrol, milk and sugar are also expensive:
Here, even before petrol, the price of milk has reached Rs
150 per liter in Pakistan and the price of sugar has reached Rs 100 per kg. Not
only this, the prices of mutton, chicken, pulses and other things have also
reached the sky. Because of this scale in prices, Pakistan's Prime Minister
Imran Khan had to admit a few days ago that his country was facing very high
inflation.
The news agency quoted Dairy and Cattle Farmers Association
(DCFA) as saying that its president Shakir Umar Gurjar wrote a letter to Imran
Khan saying that milk prices in Karachi may rise if the government does not
withdraw the 17 per cent sales tax. Last week, farmers' representatives also
held several meetings with government officials to oppose the 17 per cent
general sales tax on agricultural produce.
